Follow these steps to suspend a user account in cPanel WHM:
1. Log in to your WHM account.

2. Once logged in, under Favorites, click List Accounts.
Note: You can also access this function on the left-hand side panel. Click Account Information, then click List Accounts from the dropdown list.
3. Look for the account you want to suspend, then click the + symbol for that account.
4. Additional settings will open for that account. Enter the reason for the suspension, then click the Suspend button.
5. You'll get a confirmation of the suspension on the following page.
Follow these steps to suspend a user account in DirectAdmin:
1. Log in to your DirectAdmin Reseller account.

2. Once logged in, click Account Manager, then click List Users from the dropdown list.
3. Look for the account you want to suspend, then click on the checkbox for that account.
4. Options for this particular account will open. Click the Suspend button.
5. Confirm the reason for the suspension using the dropdown box and fill out the details. (Optional)
Note: Enabling the Override Suspension Message checkbox will allow you to configure a new message to the account user via email.
6. Once completed, click the Suspend button.
7. Suspended accounts will have a warning sign next to their username.
