Follow these steps to update your email settings in cPanel:
1. Log in to your cPanel account.
For instructions on how to log in to cPanel, please click here.
2. Under the Email section, click Email Accounts.
3. This section shows the list of your created email accounts. Click the Manage button for the email address that requires email setting updates.
4. It will present you with setting options to manage the specified email account.
Security
Update your current password for this email address.
Storage
Update the allocated storage space for this email address.
Restrictions
Update the permissions that the email account can perform.
Automatically Create Folders for Plus Addressing
This option allows you to create folders for the email address when it receives a message that uses plus addressing.
5. Once completed, click the Update Email Settings button to apply the changes.
Note: If you have an email address configured on an email client on one of your devices (such as a laptop, desktop, tablet, smartphone, etc.), you will need to ensure any password modifications that have taken place are also updated on your email client. Your email client will require the correct/updated credentials to access the server.

1. Log in to your DirectAdmin account.

2. Under E-mail Manager, click E-mail Accounts. Alternatively, you can enter ‘E-mail Accounts’ in the search bar at the top of the page.

3. This section shows the list of your created email accounts. Click the + icon for the email address that requires email setting updates.
4. It will present you with setting options to manage the specified email account.
Change Password/Username
Update your current username and password for this email address.
Enter your new Username and/or Password, then click the Save button.
Change Limits
Update the allocated storage space and send limit for this email address.
Set the E-mail Quota (MB) and the Daily Send Limit, then click the Save button.
Suspend/Unsuspend/Delete/Purge
Return to the Email Accounts page to access the Suspend, Unsuspend, Delete, and Purge settings.
Tick the checkbox next to the email. To perform any of the functions, simply click on the associated button.
Note: If you have an email address configured on an email client on one of your devices (such as a laptop, desktop, tablet, smartphone, etc.), you will need to ensure any password modifications that have taken place are also updated on your email client.
