This cPanel functionality allows you to restore certain aspects of a cPanel account, such as the Home Directory, MySQL Databases, Email Forwarders, and Email Filters. For instructions on how to download partial backups in cPanel, please click here.
Note: This guide is not suitable for restoring full cPanel account backups.
Follow these steps to restore a partial backup in cPanel:
1. Log in to your cPanel account.

2. Under the Files section, click Backup Wizard.
3. For Step 1: Back Up or Restore, click the Restore button.
4. For Step 2: Select Restore Type, click either the Home Directory, MySQL Databases, Email Forwarders or Email Filters button, depending on which partial backup you have previously downloaded.
5. Click the Browse button, select your backup file from your PC, and then click the Upload button
6. Once the backup has completed restoring, a message will appear advising of the status.
If the message is highlighted in red, the backup provided is incompatible.
