    3. Add the Office 365 MX record and click the Save Record button.
The Microsoft MX record format typically follows your domain name where the "." are replaced with a "-" character followed by .mail.protection.outlook.com appended to the end of it.
For example, the MX record for example.com would be example-com.mail.protection.outlook.com
Hostname TTL Record Type Priority Destination/Value
      Your domain name, ie example.com 14400 MX 1 your-domain.mail.protection.outlook.com

  4. Verify if you have an existing SPF record.
    1. Click on the TXT tab and look to see if a record for your domain exists with a value that starts with v=spf1 and ends with all. If so, you can click edit on the existing record and update it. If no record exists, proceed to the next step.
Adjust the record so it contains the value: include:spf.protection.outlook.com
The complete value in our example below would be:  v=spf1 include:hosting-cloud.net include:spf.protection.outlook.com -all

      1. Add the Microsoft 365 SPF record and click the Save Record button.
Hostname TTL Record Type Priority Destination/Value
        Your domain name, ie example.com 14400 TXT N/A v=spf1 include:spf.protection.outlook.com -all
