How to Install Our Free SSL Certificate

Follow these steps to install our free SSL via cPanel:

 

1. Log in to your cPanel control panel.
For instructions on how to log in to cPanel, please click here.

2. Under the Security section, click SSL/TLS Status. Alternatively, you can enter "SSL/TLS Status" in the search bar at the top of the page.

3. You will need to click the Run AutoSSL button. Allow the SSL to run. Once completed, a green notification at the top will advise of its completion.

Note: Those records must point to our servers to have the free SSL installed. The easiest way to achieve that is to utilise our nameservers. If you use external nameservers, you must add the necessary records.

 

*** If you cannot see the "SSL/TLS Status" option, please follow the steps below ***

1. Under the Security section, click SSL/TLS Certificates. Alternatively, you can enter "SSL/TLS Certificates" in the search bar at the top of the page.

2. Select the Wizard tab.

3. Select the tick box for the required entries. 

The main entries you want to select are your domain name and mail record.
The domain record often won’t need the SSL installation if your website is hosted elsewhere. The same goes for the mail record if your emails are hosted externally.

4. Once you have selected the necessary records, press Continue, then Let's Encrypt Certificate.

5. Once completed, you will see this green icon next to the records you have selected.

Follow these steps to install our free SSL via DirectAdmin:

 

1. Log in to your Direct Admin Control Panel.
For instructions on how to log in to DirectAdmin, please click here.

2. Under Account Manager, click SSL Certificates. Alternatively, you can enter "SSL Certificates" in the search bar at the top of the page.

3. It will take you to the SSL Certificates dashboard. Select the first tab labelled Get automatic certificate from ACME Provider.

4. It will open up a list of options for selecting which records will have SSL installed.

The main entries you want to select (from top to bottom) are your domain name, mail record and www record.
The domain record and www record often won’t need the SSL installation if your website is hosted elsewhere. The same goes for the mail record if your emails are hosted externally.

5. Once you have selected the necessary records, click the Save button.

Give it a moment to install the SSL Certificate. A pop-up will advise that the SSL Certificates have been installed.
