1. Log in to your cPanel account.

2. Under the Domains section, click Zone Editor.
3. Click the Manage button for the domain you wish to add/modify/delete DNS records.
4. A page will open to view the domain's DNS records.
5. Search for the DNS record you want to delete, then click the Delete button associated with the record.
6. Click the Continue button to confirm the removal of the record.
Note: In DirectAdmin, the full stop in a hostname record depicts the end of the record.
Using the image below, the record name 'www' is equivalent to writing 'www.example.com.'
1. Log in to your DirectAdmin account.

2. Under Account Manager, click DNS Management.
3. A page will open with a list of existing DNS records.
4. Search for the DNS record in the list, and click the checkbox for the record you want to delete.
5. Click the Delete button.
6. A window will pop up; click the DELETE button to confirm the removal of the record.
