1. Log in to your cPanel account.

2. Under the Domains section, click Zone Editor.
3. Click the Manage button for the domain you want to connect.
4. You want to change your IP address for the A record of your domain to the Shopify IP (23.227.38.65).
Click Edit on the existing A record, update the IP/Record to "23.227.38.65", and then click the Save Record button.
If no A record exists, you must click the Add Record button and enter the domain name and the IP/Record of "23.227.38.65". Once completed, click the Save Record button.
5. You must also ensure your www CNAME record is pointing to shops.myshopify.com.
Note: Any DNS changes can take 4-24 hours to propagate.
1. Log in to your DirectAdmin account.

2. Under Account Manager, click DNS Management.
3. You want to change your IP address for the A record of your domain to the Shopify IP (23.227.38.65).
Click the Pencil icon on the existing A record.
4. Update the IP/Record to "23.227.38.65", and then click the Save button.
5. You must also ensure your www CNAME record is pointing to shops.myshopify.com.
Look for any existing www record, click the checkbox, then click the Delete button.
6. Click the Add Record button.
7. Change the record type to CNAME. Enter "www" into the Name field and "shops.myshopify.com" into the Value field. Once completed, click the Add button.
Note: In DirectAdmin, where a hostname value is required, you must add a '.'; otherwise, it will append to the domain at the end of the record. In this example, 'shops.myshopify.com' would be 'shops.myshopify.com.example.com' if the '.' is not added.
