Follow these steps to access the .htaccess file in cPanel:
1. Log in to your cPanel account.

2. Under the Files section, click File Manager.
3. The cPanel File Manager will open in a new tab.
4. Navigate to the directory where your website files are located. You can often find them in the public_html folder.
5. If the .htaccess file does not show, click the Settings button in the top right corner.
6. A popup window will open. Enable the Show Hidden Files (dotfiles) option, then click the Save button.
7. You will be able to see the .htaccess file. If it does not exist, create a new one.
Follow these steps to access the .htaccess file in DirectAdmin:
1. Log in to your DirectAdmin account.

2. Under System Info & Files, click File Manager.
3. The DirectAdmin File Manager will open in a new tab.
4. Navigate to the directory where your website files are located. You can often find them in the public_html folder. You will be able to see the .htaccess file. If it does not exist, create a new one.
